and earlier and preinstalled on Windows 2000 and earlier. In order to use it on Windows XP and later Windows versions, it has to be installed first. The Microsoft Visual FoxPro Driver 6.01.8629.01 is available for download at -us/vfoxpro/bb190233.aspx.
Odbc Foxpro Driver Download
The VFP ODBC Driver can be installed under 64-bit Windows but 64-bit applications cannot access VFP ODBC driver because it comes only in 32-bit version. For 32-bit applications under 64-bit Windows there's ODBC Data Source Administrator for the 32-bit ODBC drivers %systemdrive%\Windows\SysWoW64\odbcad32.exe (usually C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe).
I was able to access a FoxPro table with the jdbc-odbc bridge on Windows 7 but it took a number of steps. I already had the VFP driver installed, and I don't remember where I downloaded it from, so I don't have a link for that.
The DriverManager.getConnection method takes a database URL. To create a URL you need to use the ODBC manager. Unfortunately for me, the ODBC manager that I could get to through the control panel only worked for 64 bit data sources. I am not aware of a 64 bit foxpro driver.
Once you have downloaded your new driver, you'll need to install it. In Windows, use a built-in utility called Device Manager, which allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.
Hi Bob,\\n\\nFirst you should go to this link: and download the trial version of CR XI R2 and use your XI keycode, then apply the patches which you can get to by clicking on the BusinessObjects tab above, then Downloads.\\n\\nDirect link to the Trial version: \\n\\nDownload SP5 and then test again. If it's still an issue we can at least escalate the problem. CR Xi is past it's supported life cycle meaning no patches will be released.\\n\\nHave you tried using any other database connection methods to see if those work? May be an issue with the ODBC driver. Try downloading the latest MDAC from microsoft also.\\n\\nThank you\\nDon\",\"author\":\"username\":\"don.williams\",\"displayName\":\"Don Williams\",\"groupIcons\":[\"name\":\"moderator\",\"title\":\"This user is an SAP Moderator\",\"priority\":20,\"name\":\"employee\",\"title\":\"This user is an SAP Employee\",\"priority\":21],\"suspended\":false,\"isCurrentUser\":false,\"id\":6618943,\"posted\":1255631256000,\"votes\":0,\"isAccepted\":false,\"isLocked\":false,\"userVoted\":\"\",\"relations\":\"canCancelAccept\":false,\"canUnlock\":false,\"canUseDelete\":false,\"canVoteDownOrCancel\":false,\"canLock\":false,\"canAccept\":false,\"type\":\"answer\",\"canVoteUpOrCancel\":false,\"isCurrentUserAuthor\":false,\"attachments\":[]}]"), answerForm: formAction: "/answers/6614816/post.json", textareaName: "body", textareaErrors: "", isAttachmentsEnabled: true, answerEditorialGuideline: title: "Before answering", content: "You should only submit an answer when you are proposing a solution to the poster\'s problem. JDBC drivers are Java library files with the extension .jar used by all Java applications to connect to the database. Usually, they are provided by the same company which implemented the FoxPro software. DbSchema Tool already includes an FoxPro driver, which is automatically downloaded when you connect to FoxPro.
I am able to create ODBC connection to the DBF file, after downloading the MS VFoxPro ODBC driver. But I have trouble creating Linked Server from SQL 2000 to any of those FxoPro tables. Any help is appreciated. 2ff7e9595c
